This week on HealthyPlace, I made a video on how to prepare for postpartum depression because if I’m being honest, odds are pretty high that it’s something I will experience. A lot of moms get PPD, and your odds are even higher if you have a history of mental health issues, like me. So I’m not trying to be a pessimist, I’m just trying to be prepared because I want to enjoy my time with my new babes as much as possible. This means understanding my needs, articulating them, and asking others for help meeting them. Check out the article/video: How to Create a Postpartum Depression Support Plan.
