Life Update: I May Actually Get Everything Done on My To Do List Today

Today’s to-do list was intense. It involved a lot of adulting, like filing estimated taxes, rescheduling a doctor’s appointment, and setting up car insurance for the new van, plus lots of freelancing work. When I made my list this morning, I was sure I would never get it all done. But now I only have two items left, and one of them is writing this very post, so hurray!

Today also involved painting the ceiling of the nursery, which I almost didn’t do because it was an intimidating amount of work, but I’m so glad I did. The sooner the nursery is done, the sooner we can start putting the house back together because right now it is CHAOS. Usually I struggle to get anything done on my to-do list when the house is destroyed because I’m so distracted by the mess, but today I managed to power through. I think I had so much to do that I didn’t even think about it, I just started checking things off my list as fast as I could.

I even managed to take a nap today, even with everything that needed done, which is great. Being 31 weeks pregnant means that sometimes, you just need to freaking sleep, and today was one of those days. I made it to noon, but then my body and brain started giving out on me, I started crying for no reason at all, and I just decided napping would be better than trying (and probably failing) to power through.

Hopefully today is the last day of short life updates on this blog, but I’ll admit, it’s been kind of fun just rambling about my day. Thanks for your patience as I try to survive BEDS!
